Bette was my Step-grandmother. She was a kind lady, very devoted to her family. I will treasure fond memories of times together at Waterwynch, my mum's house, and Bette's lovely home in Kempsey, including many happy and very well-catered Christmases. I will think of her every time I 'have five minutes' after a meal or make her legendary chocolate brandy cake. Rest in peace Queen B. xx
